Hi Mat,
Pretty Link sounds great. It certainly looks much neater than GoCodes. I have one question, though: Apparently, Google does not like cloaking but does not object to redirection. Now, Pretty Link is a cloaker while GoCodes redirects – at least according to what they say on their respecitve product sites.
So far, I have been using GoCodes and because of the cloaking/redirecting issues I am loath to give up GoCodes.
What’s your view on this?
Max
Hi Max,
Both pretty link and GoCodes actually redirect. Not sure why the site would say any different but both are good in Google’s eyes.
Matt
Thanks for sharing! Have been thinking how to hide the affiliate link …. will do it right away
cheers
Thanks Matt
This is good information on how to set up redirects without the ugly URSLs. I’ll will try this out soon.
